Granola for breakfast
One of my favorite breakfasts is granola with some blueberries, bananas and yogurt. When eating my breakfast mindfully I notice all the tastes, smells and what I see in my bowl to bring me peacefulness. Eat your breakfast just to eat breakfast. Turn off your tv, put away your newspaper, just be in the moment with eating your breakfast. Try it. Be present with all the different tastes when eating breakfast, for example in my granola bowl: I love tasting the crunchiness of the granola together with the coolness of the yogurt and the sweet taste of blueberries and bananas. In the summer I like to add fresh strawberries as well. I notice all the beautiful colors of the fruit in my bowl. Being in the moment with your breakfast feels really relaxing. Breathe in:”I love my colorful bowl of granola,” breathe out:”I feel happy,” breathe in:”I taste the sweetness of the fruit in my mouth,”breath out:”I feel creative,”breathe in:”I taste the crunchy granola chunks,” breathe out:”I feel peaceful.” Enjoy eating breakfast.
