A kiwi is a funny fruit. It’s fuzzy and brown on the outside and once you slice it in half all these beautiful green colors come to life and you notice all these cute little black seeds all around the white oval shaped center. I see a sticker on it mentioning it came all the way from Australia. I was curious so I looked this up, but the kiwi is native to central and eastern China. In the early 20th century it spread to New Zealand were the first commercial plantings started. Another name for it is Chinese gooseberry. Interesting right! I love eating fruits, but kiwi seems very special to me as its so unusual and unique in its design. As I take a bite I notice it’s sweet, sometimes tart flavor and enjoy the taste. Close your eyes for a moment and feel the air moving into your body and all the way out. Breathe in:”I love fruits,” breathe out:” I feel creative,” breathe in:” I am joyful,” breathe out:”I feel peaceful.” So for today I invite you to really enjoy your fruits. Notice all their details and uniqueness. You might even become curious and look things up, bringing a creative energy into your life. Have fun exploring fruits.
