Expand your creativity, increase relaxation and inner peace with mindfulness movements, meditations and coloring mandala’s.
Each class we will start out by preparing our bodies for meditation by going thru some mindful movements and light stretches (moving mantras) , next we meditate and last but not least we will color our mandalas. Mandala comes from the Sanskrit language which means ‘circle’ or ‘center’. Coloring mandala’s can promote relaxation, calm down the nervous system, invoke positive energies and balance body energies. Enjoy our 4 week mindful Mondays class from 6-7pm on January 6th, 13, 27 and February 3rd. (Weather permitting, if library needs to close we will add a Monday) All levels welcome. Bring water or tea for hydration.
